Reverse polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene block polyether is a class of lubricating and surface active materials widely used in fully synthetic cutting fluids and aqueous cleaning agents.
When the working fluid temperature rises above the cloud point temperature, the polyether precipitates out and this property is called inverse solubility, providing excellent lubricating function similar to solid lubricants. Similarly, adding polyether to the formulation can improve the cleaning ability, reduce the amount of other surfactants, and develop high-performance low-foaming, anti-miscible oil formulations.
